Thankful

Counting your blessings is such an easy way to improve life. It doesn't always make challenges
 go away, but it helps me see how small they really are compared to the Blessings in my life. Lots to be Thankful for!

I made a plate (and lots of other stuff) to remind myself of that fact every meal :) Thanks to my brother-in-law & siss who bought me these glass and porcelain pens..the best gift ever!

Sometimes I forget my mind is a room with a view. I open the curtains and picture all the beautiful things in the distance.

How's your day?

Although I had some good weeks, I felt a bit disconnected to my heart (as in that place of hopes and dreams and inspiration) somehow. Today I feel reconnected and that feels very good. I wanted to share these pictures of my (18 year old) sisters room with you. She designed and decorated the whole place herself and I was just amazed with the result! Hope you'll enjoy it too..

Layers of Time (CV)

A whole life of ten decades in patterns. Peeled of by the new

owners who want to start with a blank sheet. The previous owner lived here all her life and died at the age of 101. The opportunity to have a look inside before the place is going to be torn down felt like a small tribute to her life.

This week I saw/ Escape to the country

And I have the honour to not only see it, but its my 'escape to the country' quite regulary. It was great when I first saw it and becoming prettier by the year! My friends did a great job!
