What's cooking?

Slowly I'm getting rid of the boxes. It's literally a tower of boxes in my livingroom (it's actually not seperate but that's how I call it) that's getting smaller and smaller. I'm finally feeling better, now I realy start enjoying the place. Especially having a kitchen of my own.

1. I had my sister over for the weekend, fun fun :)

2. Inspiration on the coffee table bought with C. (@ C. I don't regret buying them!)

3. Great base: Green pepper, red pepper, garlic and ginger

4. What's cooking? curry!

First Days

This message is uploaded from a nice little coffeecorner in my new hometown (no internet yet at my place). Unfortunaly i spend the first days in my appartement lying in bed with a flu, but with help from friends & family it looks quite good already. So happy!

5 months

This little fellow is 5 months today. My blog was 'born' round about the same time. Nervous as I was while my sister was giving birth in the hospital, i needed some distraction and (finally)opened a blog. I've been enjoying it ever since. (and LOVE the little fellow)

During my clear-out (moving in four days now!) i came across this little fellow which i made years ago*. He is my own Pinoccio;) Like you can see he suffered a bit, but it only made him prettier.

* with the intention to use it for children who were going through a rough time

Makeover

Today I saw a preview of a television program where they dress up a famous Dutch actress to a completely different person (with costumes and loads of make up). She interviews famous people and at the end reveals herself, which is of course a big shock for the person interviewed. There is an interesting psychology in the dressing up thing.

okay this time we were cheating, but we did travel to Brasil and New York together. Once in a while we feed our dreams by spending some time at the Airport. I wonder what the next destination will be...
