Thankful

Counting your blessings is such an easy way to improve life. It doesn't always make challenges
 go away, but it helps me see how small they really are compared to the Blessings in my life. Lots to be Thankful for!

I made a plate (and lots of other stuff) to remind myself of that fact every meal :) Thanks to my brother-in-law & siss who bought me these glass and porcelain pens..the best gift ever!

This week I saw

Corner View: Anything Goes

Thanksgiving is not a widespread tradition in Holland (yet), but I love everything about it! I think being thankfull (sometimes really easy & sometimes with some effort..) is such a big part of being happy. And there is no better way to celebrate that than with good food! What do you think that I should serve? Any tips? Please share!

Sugar Aunt

Yesterday it was a year ago that I became the (sugar) aunt of this fantastic little man. This was my contribution to the party. I really wanted to give them something special.. But I doubted till the last minute if the portrait was good enough and if I would bring it. So glad I did. They were so happy with it. It was excactly how they see their little boy and called it the best present ever :)
