Through the eyes of a child

When I was a kid I wanted to be an inventor. One of my 'inventions' was a flying machine out of a cardboard box and balloons. I was convinced that I could take my sisters and friends on a flying trip if only I had enough balloons. Now I'm older and wiser and 'know' that it is not possible. To some extend it is a good thing to learn that there are limits, it keeps us safe. But I do wonder sometimes if we don't learn this there-are-limits-lesson to well. That we put limits where they don't need to be. I want to see the world again through the eyes of a child.

funny you should say you want to see the world through the eyes of a child. seeing your illustration regularly, i think you may have succeeded in your wish already. i find, your imagination, through your adult eyes, has stayed pretty unencumbered by adult worries, and there's childlike wonder shining through your work!
