What suprises me time after time is how incredibly time consuming (to me it is one of the best ways to 'consume time' though) creative projects are. I'm really trying to be a little more effective but not succeeding in it yet. Especially the finishing touch takes me a lot longer than I'd like. When I feel inspired I tend to get impatient, eager to realize my idea, see it come to being as soon as possible. It's almost like reading a good book. I try to finish some of my projects at the moment in stead of starting new ones. Tidy up these toys before I go play with new ones (bought block print today, can't wait) :).

Yeeeehaaa voor blockprint! mijn favoriete bezigheid. Nu nog leren projecten af te maken alvorens iets nieuws, maar er is ook zo veel leuks! en drie kindjes ;-) dat is soms ook lastig wat opruimen en afmaken betreft.

Oh, how I know what you mean... My mind also works a bit (well a lot) faster than my hands, so I have about a dozen half-way done or almost finished projects laying around. I, too, swore I would NOT start a new one until I get most of the older ones ready. But hey -- I did... :D
