Corner View: Vending Machines

Left: Subway Berlin
Right: Groningen

I'll tell you a secret. Sometimes I can't resist vending machines with chewing gum and surprises. I still feel the magic they had for me when I was a child and 25 cents was an enormous amount. Standing before it for ages because you can only spend your money once.
Now I sometimes feel like life is like a vending machine. It has so much to offer. Choosing is difficult and sometimes its random, you throw in your coins and your not always sure what your gonna get. Like the 25 cents you can only spend your time once. So spend it wisely.
Do you have some coins left? Choose a 'machine' in the sidebar under 'corner view'

  2. I know. I rarely use them these days (exception last week) but I remember that... clutching your cents and being totally undecided. ah, nostalgia. leuk. :)

  15. my weekend chewing gum machine was nor good nor bad. I just realized: sometimes we stay in front of the machine and we put the coin and concentrate on the red chewing gum. but, at the end, it's the yellow one that's falling into our hands. at first we are a bit disappointed, because yellow is not red...
but after a while we understand, that the yellow one tastes as good as the red one or even better...

(the point is: for months me and a friend had the idea of sharing an apartement together. we made posters and told all the people we met on the street and asked for a nice and cheap apartment. last Sunday I went to see a big apartment-sharing-comunity. it's in a house I always admired. but: I just wanted to go there and see the community and to be convinced I would not like it there, because me and my friend wanted to move together... and I didn't want to disappoint her. hm. fact is: I really liked the people in this house and I could imagine moving there. so it would be completely different to what I wanted before and it would be very bad for my friend. but at the same time I realize I prefer moving to a house with a big community and in a part of the city I wanted to move for years... so. Now I have to trust the machine - that it will offer me the right colour...
sorry! my english is so bad! I hope you understand my little story...!
